It’s time for us to empower our people, and give them the resources they need to continue to strengthen our aiga and communities

Wellbeing Faasoa sessions: These sessions consist of weekly exercise sessions and a Fortnightly wellbeing Faasoa sessions that facilitates discussions of wellbeing topics that include Cultural Identity – strengthening self-worth, Mental health literacy – mental wealth, improving mental health leads to mental wealth, Leadership skills, physical health – caring for your body, Nutrition and wellbeing.

Communities of care: Our cohorts will have access to our Community connector who acts as a case manager providing pastoral support. They link in with our key partners to address the challenges our Pasifika peoples face such as health, employment, housing and other services. An initial needs assessment is carried out at the start of each programme to better understand their situation, remove barriers and encourage our Pacific peoples on their healthy lifestyle journey. Our communities of care model reinforces a collective impact approach with our key stakeholders in the community including Pacific social service providers, Ministry of Social Development, Amanaki STEM Academy and Pacific churches.
